MODERN IT SYSTEMS IN LOGISTICS
A specialist seminar organized by BARCO to be held on April 9, 2008.
One seminar runs from 9:30 to 12:15 and again at 13:30 to 16:45.
The main topic will be the introduction of Warehouse Management Systems for the management of warehouse operations in real time, RFID technologies for automatic and no-contact identification and RTLS systems using active RFID WiFi tag technology. RFID technology and bar codes offer companies new possibilities for automatic identification and mobility when collecting data. These systems are more and more often being introduced across all fields in companies both large and small, in both manufacturing and service organizations. Among the main motives are the need to increase the automation of processes, improvement of control, the efficient conduct of operations and an increase in the level of customer services.
The aim of this seminar is to share the experiences and results from IT projects already realized. Representatives from Intersnack a.s., PENAM, a.s. and Tamtron s.r.o. will share their experiences.
