MICHAL BÍLÝ

Michal Bílý began his career in one of the state enterprises for the production of foodstuffs after the finalization of his studies at the Technical University of Chemistry (specialization of macromolecular chemistry) in 1977. His first activities were realized on the field of development and purchase of packaging materials.
The packaging materials, packaging techniques, wraps, designs and marketing were the main focuses of his working activities in most of the following years. As a result of his many years spent being a manager of the purchase department and a sales director, he gained accurate and specific skills and methods in this field. After another few years holding the same position in a Belgian firm, he acquired a vision of the European context as well.
He has been working for GS1 Czech Republic from 2006, where he is also using his long-term experience as a previous member of the Board of this organisation.
