Filip Matějka(29) is a managing director of a quantitatively oriented business consulting firm AZPIRO, s.r.o. His main responsibility lies in the application of economic theories and mathematical modeling to commerce and industry, mostly to supply chain, finance and procurement. Filip also works for the research institute CERGE-EI, where he focuses on macroeconomics. He received his Ph.D. in applied mathematics from Princeton University in the USA and M.S. in physics from Charles University.
